The CalmAmp AUT-620 is a battery-operated asset tracking device that is designed for long-term deployments without the need for maintenance. It is an ideal solution for managing assets that will be deployed for extended periods. The ATU-620 features a small size, superior GPS performance, and replaceable AA Alkaline batteries, making it a reliable and convenient asset tracking solution.
The ATU-620 is a complete asset tracking and communications device that incorporates next-generation, super-sensitive GPS technology on GSM/GPRS, CDMA 1xRTT, and HSPA cellular networks. It can be installed inside any mobile asset and does not require wired antennas, thanks to its superior internal antennas for both cellular and GPS. This makes the ATU-620 mountable virtually anywhere, allowing for easy and inexpensive installations.
One of the standout features of the ATU-620 is CalmAmp's industry-leading on-board alert engine, PEG (Programmable Event Generator). This advanced engine monitors external conditions and supports customer-defined exception-based rules, allowing you to customize the device to meet the specific needs of your application. PEG continuously monitors the vehicle environment and responds instantaneously to pre-defined threshold conditions related to time, date, motion, location, geo-zone, input, and other event combinations.
In addition to its flexibility, the ATU-620 also offers over-the-air serviceability through CalmAmp's PULS (Programming, Updates, and Logistics System). This system allows for configuration parameters, PEG rules, and firmware updates to be done remotely, eliminating the need for manual updates. PULS also offers hands-free configuration and automatic post-installation upgrades, making it easy to manage and maintain the ATU-620.
